Postdoctoral Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and curiosity-driven Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at the Babraham Institute. The successful candidate will contribute to our research on the role of extracellular proteostasis in healthy ageing and host defence against pathogens.
About the RoleThe post-holder will use reverse genetics, proteomics, and functional assays in C. elegans to investigate the impact of extracellular proteostasis on health at the tissue and whole organism levels. Applicants should have completed a PhD in cell or molecular biology, genetics, or a related field, with a demonstrable track-record in academic research. Prior experience with C. elegans is essential, and previous working experience in microscopy, molecular cloning, proteomics, and generating transgenic C. elegans is desirable.

Requirements- PhD in cell or molecular biology, genetics, or a related field
- Demonstrable track-record in academic research
- Prior experience with C. elegans
- Desirable: previous working experience in microscopy, molecular cloning, proteomics, and generating transgenic C. elegans
