The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) plays a pivotal role in promoting and selling products and services within a designated market segment for specified focus accounts. The CRM is tasked with cultivating relationships with assigned accounts and prospective clients to build a robust opportunity pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Meet Sales and Profit objectives in alignment with established targets Formulate both short-term and long-term strategic sales plans for all designated clients Identify and convert opportunities for targeted customers Actively pursue sales leads with both new and existing clients Foster customer relationships and strategic alliances, evaluate customer requirements, and recommend suitable products and services Plan and execute customer visits while establishing relevant action plans Ensure prompt follow-up on opportunities and quotes Monitor and enhance project win rates, utilizing CRM systems for all project data Provide technical consulting and effectively communicate the technical attributes of our sealing solutions Oversee pricing, terms, and contract negotiations with the team Gather market insights to identify innovation trends that can enhance our sealing portfolio Enhance Trelleborg Brand Awareness and identify marketing requirements Lead Sales Excellence initiatives Ensure full compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures, including Quality Procedures Conduct Contract Reviews (e.g., NDA, QAA) Assist with quality-related concerns Participate in management reviews, reports, business reviews, and planning

Qualifications

Technical school degree or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering or Technical Education preferred) Ideally, 2+ years of experience in engineering and/or sales-related roles Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities Strong technical and commercial negotiation expertise Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, along with familiarity with technical drawings and terminology Customer-focused with a positive, professional, and proactive demeanor Proactive approach with a hunter mentality Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Strong analytical and decision-making abilities Knowledge of rubber/plastic products, seals, and bearings is advantageous Market and application knowledge within specific market segments is beneficial
