Position Purpose:

The Sales Executive (SE) will drive sales revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within designated territories. Focused on engaging potential and past customers, the SE will offer tailored shredding solutions to drive revenue, expand customer base, and enhance profitability. Collaboration with customers and internal teams is vital to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Job Activities:
  • Promote and sell Shred-it services to new and past prospects by identifying opportunities in the assigned territory, attending scheduled sales appointments, and following the established sales processes.
  • Utilize SFDC and other IT systems to manage pipelines, track sales activities, send contracts, and maintain professional communication internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with local and internal sales teams, marketing leaders, and various departments to improve service offerings for new and existing customers.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions with up-to-date market information, fostering a positive and professional sales approach to uphold Shred-it's standards of customer service, security, and environmental responsibility.
  • Adhere to company policies, including Commercial DOA, pricing guidelines, SFDC protocols, tender processes, and ethical standards to create an optimal work environment for all team members.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the assigned territory, sharing insights with colleagues and sales leaders as necessary.
Education:

Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education: Associate's degree or equivalent.

Experience (EMEAA):

Required Experience: 0 - 1 year

Preferred Experience: Solid knowledge & comprehension

Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass a background check.

Preferably, university/college education or relevant sales experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.

Excellent time management, organizational skills, and self-discipline.

Highly motivated, results-driven, and positive-minded with strong negotiation and listening abilities.

Experience in competitive, target-oriented environments, preferably within a team setting.

Ability to excel in high-pressure, high-volume sales environments, both independently and collaboratively.

Outbound sales experience required, with a minimum of 3 years and a successful track record.
