Role Summary:
We are enhancing our Global Accounts team to deepen our strategic relationships at the customer headquarters level. We are seeking a Global Client Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
The Global Client Lead will collaborate closely with Global Media VPs and their teams, global e-commerce leadership, and brand teams, as well as the client's media agency(ies). The role involves:

  1. Driving Revenue Growth:
    Establish and nurture the global partnership with the client by:
    • Managing the client relationship as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant, serving as the primary contact from Director to C-level in brand marketing, media, data, technology, and e-commerce.
    • Educating the client's media and marketing teams and developing relationships with their global brand teams.
    • Identifying and spearheading global advertising initiatives that generate additional revenue beyond local budgets.
    • Engaging with decision-makers at the client's media agency(ies).
    • Formulating and finalizing a global media agreement that outlines key workstreams, resources, and annual spending commitments.
  2. Facilitating Local Account Growth:
    Enable local account expansion through internal leadership by:
    • Creating additional local sales opportunities by fostering a well-connected network of local account executives across North America, Europe, and Asia.
    • Eliminating obstacles that hinder client spending by influencing internal Amazon teams.
    • Monitoring and benchmarking local account performance.
  3. Enhancing Global-Local Processes:
    Build efficient global-local processes for Amazon Advertising by:
    • Continuously improving global-local sales processes, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and transparency.
    • Collaborating with the Amazon Stores and Retail organization and other Amazon teams on behalf of the client.
    • Leading the quarterly business review process.

Team Dynamics:
The Global Accounts Team serves as the sales force that engages with global headquarters-level C-suite influencers not covered by local sales teams. They act as business consultants to Amazon Ads' largest global clients, fostering long-term strategic growth in collaboration with local sales teams. Responsibilities include integration into key global media planning frameworks, engagement with clients' global Ad Tech and measurement strategies, and the development of best practices and education on a global scale.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong influencing skills with key stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive approach to promoting Amazon Ads products and services.
  • Proven collaboration skills across internal partner teams.
  • Experience managing global RFPs, including kick-offs, evaluating briefs, and maintaining client communications.
  • Comprehensive expertise across the entire media ecosystem.
  • A deep understanding of global marketing organizations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for large senior audiences.
