Role Summary:
We are expanding our Global Accounts division to strengthen our relationships at the headquarters level with clients. We are seeking a Global Client Lead who will collaborate directly with Global Media VPs and their teams, global e-commerce leadership, and brand teams, as well as the media agencies of our clients. This role will focus on developing comprehensive Joint Business Plans, operationalizing the global partnership, integrating Amazon Advertising into key global media strategies, and addressing clients' marketing and media challenges using our extensive analytics and insights capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive Revenue Growth:
    Build and nurture the global partnership with clients by:
    • Managing client relationships as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant, engaging with stakeholders from Director to C-level in brand marketing, media, data, technology, and e-commerce.
    • Educating the client's media and marketing teams, fostering relationships with their global brand teams.
    • Identifying and spearheading global advertising initiatives that generate additional revenue beyond local budgets.
    • Collaborating with decision-makers at the clients' media agencies.
    • Formulating and finalizing a global media agreement that outlines key workstreams, resources, and annual spending commitments.
  2. Facilitate Local Account Growth:
    Enable local sales opportunities by:
    • Creating additional local sales prospects through a well-connected network of local account executives across North America, Europe, and Asia.
    • Removing obstacles that hinder client spending by influencing internal Amazon teams.
    • Monitoring and evaluating local account performance metrics.
  3. Enhance Global-Local Processes:
    Improve global-local sales methodologies by:
    • Refining processes, templates, and tools that promote global consistency and transparency.
    • Engaging with Amazon Stores and Retail, as well as other Amazon teams, on behalf of clients.
    • Leading the quarterly business review process.

About the Team:
The Global Accounts Team serves as the sales force that engages with global headquarters-level influencers not covered by local sales teams. They act as business consultants to Amazon Ads' largest global clients, driving long-term strategic growth in collaboration with local sales teams. Responsibilities include integration into key global media planning frameworks, engagement with clients' global Ad Tech and measurement strategies, and the establishment of best practices on a global scale.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:

  • Strong influencing skills with key stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to promoting Amazon Ads products and services.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams.
  • Experience managing global RFPs, including kick-offs, evaluations, and communications with clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the media ecosystem.
  • A deep understanding of global marketing organizations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for large senior audiences.
