Job Overview:
Amazon Advertising is focused on delivering measurable results for brand advertisers and their agencies. Our international sales teams prioritize our customers to assist advertisers in boosting sales—both on and off Amazon—enhancing brand visibility, and fostering connections with their clientele through our diverse offerings in video, entertainment, display, programmatic, self-service advertising, and ad technology solutions. As a client partner, you will be at the forefront of representing Amazon Ads to external partners.

Role Summary:
We are expanding our Global Accounts team to strengthen our relationships at the headquarters level with clients. We are seeking a Global Client Lead who will collaborate directly with Global Media VPs and their teams, global e-commerce leadership, and brand teams, as well as the client's media agencies. This role involves developing global Joint Business Plans, operationalizing the global relationship, ensuring the inclusion of Amazon Advertising in key global media strategies, and addressing clients' marketing and media challenges using our analytics and insights capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Drive Revenue Growth:
- Cultivate the client relationship, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant to the client's leadership in brand marketing, media, data, technology, and e-commerce.
- Educate the client's marketing community and establish connections with their global brand teams.
- Identify and spearhead global advertising initiatives that generate additional revenue beyond local budgets.
- Engage with decision-makers at the client's media agencies.
- Negotiate and finalize a global media agreement that outlines key workstreams, resources, and annual spending commitments.

2) Facilitate Local Account Development:
- Generate additional local sales opportunities by fostering a network of local account executives across North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Address obstacles that impede client spending by influencing internal Amazon teams.
- Monitor and evaluate local account performance metrics.

3) Enhance Global-Local Processes:
- Continuously refine global-local sales processes, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and transparency.
- Collaborate with the Amazon Stores and Retail organization and other Amazon teams on behalf of the client.
- Lead the quarterly business review process.

About the Team:
The Global Accounts Team is dedicated to engaging with global headquarters-level C-suite influencers not served by local sales teams. They act as business consultants to Amazon Ads' largest global clients, driving long-term strategic growth in partnership with local sales teams. The team's responsibilities include integration into key global media planning frameworks, engagement with clients' global Ad Tech and measurement strategies, and the establishment of best practices on a global scale.

Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in advertising sales, account management, and client services.
- Demonstrated success in business development and cultivating strong client relationships.
- Experience in selling innovative products and services.
- Ability to navigate complex challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Proficient in engaging and negotiating with C-Level executives within agencies.
- Knowledge of data-driven media trading (e.g., programmatic).
- Strong understanding of global marketing organizations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for large senior audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to influence key stakeholders effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to promoting Amazon Ads products and services.
- Proven collaboration skills across partner teams.
- Experience managing global RFPs, including kick-offs, brief evaluations, and client communications.
- Comprehensive expertise across the entire media ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of global marketing organizations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for large senior audiences.
