Overview:
Amazon Advertising is focused on delivering measurable results for brand advertisers and their agencies. As a client partner, you will be at the forefront of representing Amazon Ads in daily interactions with external partners.

Role Purpose:
We are expanding our Global Accounts team to enhance our relationships at the headquarters level with clients. We are seeking a Global Client Lead to fulfill this critical role.

Key Responsibilities:
The Global Client Lead will collaborate directly with Global Media VPs and their teams, global e-commerce leadership, and brand teams, as well as the client's media agencies. The primary focus will be on developing comprehensive Joint Business Plans, operationalizing the global partnership, ensuring the inclusion of Amazon Advertising in key brands' global media strategies, and addressing clients' marketing and media challenges through our extensive analytics and insights capabilities.

Specific Deliverables:

  1. Enhance Account Revenue:
    • Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant, engaging with stakeholders from Director to C-level in brand marketing, media, data, technology, and e-commerce.
    • Educate the client's media and marketing teams, fostering relationships with their global brand teams.
    • Identify and spearhead global advertising initiatives that generate additional revenue beyond local budgets.
    • Engage with decision-makers at the client's media agencies.
    • Develop and finalize a global media agreement outlining key workstreams, resources, and annual spending commitments.
  2. Facilitate Local Account Growth:
    • Create additional local sales opportunities by establishing a robust network of local account executives across North America, Europe, and Asia.
    • Eliminate obstacles that hinder client spending by influencing internal Amazon teams.
    • Monitor and assess local account performance metrics.
  3. Streamline Global-Local Processes:
    • Continuously enhance global-local sales processes, templates, and tools to promote consistency and transparency.
    • Collaborate with the Amazon Stores and Retail organization and other Amazon teams on behalf of the client.
    • Lead the quarterly business review process.

About the Team:
The Global Accounts Team is dedicated to engaging with global headquarters-level C-suite influencers that are not reached by local sales teams. Acting as business consultants, they work with Amazon Ads' largest global clients to drive long-term strategic growth in partnership with local sales teams. Their responsibilities include integration into key global media planning frameworks, engagement with clients' global Ad Tech and measurement strategies, and the development of best practices on a global scale.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to promoting Amazon Ads products and services.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills across partner teams.
  • Experience managing global RFPs, including initiation, evaluation, and communication with clients.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the media ecosystem.
  • Deep knowledge of global marketing organizations.
  • Strong presentation skills for engaging large senior audiences.
