Position Summary

The Sales Executive for Endoscopy Solutions is tasked with driving revenue growth through direct engagement with potential clients within a designated territory. This role emphasizes the promotion of core products to prospective accounts, maintaining existing customer relationships to ensure a robust reference base, and educating the market on the advantages of our offerings. Establishing a strong network with partner representatives who provide complementary products is crucial, as is a thorough understanding of competitive products and positioning to ensure success as a trusted "Endoscopic Consultant" for clients. The role carries the responsibility of achieving a 10% annual increase in market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales revenue and enhance overall market share within the assigned regional territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while developing innovative strategies for client acquisition.
  • Execute strategic business plans aimed at achieving a 10% annual increase in market share, aligned with the specific goals of the position and territory.
  • Lead the clinical demonstration process for targeted accounts, ensuring successful engagements.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Sales Specialists to coordinate pre-demonstration activities for effective clinical showcases.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer accounts through regular interactions, product demonstrations, and positive engagement.
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals, including Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, and hospital administrators.
  • Serve as a primary resource for training clients on the proper utilization of equipment in clinical environments.
  • Provide educational materials and support in the field.
  • Achieve expertise in reprocessing techniques required by AER manufacturers.
  • Support key clients as directed by management.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team on clinical evaluations of new product prototypes and enhancements.
  • Deliver regular reports to management on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate customer data for future database integration.
  • Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and comply with applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related quantitative field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant field sales experience.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage various situations.
  • Proven success in fast-paced, competitive environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster solid customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to budgetary constraints.
  • Capability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prepare reports and convey information accurately and promptly.
  • Skill in prioritizing customer needs and requirements.
  • Comfort in presenting to small groups and conveying technical information clearly.
  • Basic mathematical skills for discount calculations.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Remain seated for 75-100% of the workday.
  • Utilize hands and fingers for manipulation of items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of the workday.
  • Stand, talk, and hear for 75% of the workday.
  • Lift and carry weights of 25-50 pounds up to 20% of the workday.
  • Have close vision capabilities for tasks requiring detailed visual focus.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time, including fieldwork and corporate office visits.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time, including weekends as necessary.
