Senior Product/Marketing Manager, Surgery Endoscopy

Fujifilm Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product/Marketing Manager to join our team in the Surgical Endoscopy department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the shared management of the Surgical Endoscopy product portfolio, working cross-functionally within the organization and effectively with external stakeholders to execute company initiatives and manage all aspects of product commercialization.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assigned product portfolio(s), including the Surgical Endoscopy product offering, working cross-departmentally with various stakeholders internally and externally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the marketplace, including presentations, site-visits, attendance at shows and conferences, and inquiry handling.
- Work with global marketing to identify appropriate KOLs that could support new product development and provide valuable feedback on products and market.
- Play a central role in providing clinical, technical, and market knowledge in the product franchise(s), including Fujifilm's products and services, peripheral and competitors' offerings, clinical and technology trends, and customer preferences.
- Support sales demonstrations, working closely with sales management and field personnel.
- Develop and drive 3 – 5-year strategic plans for the Surgical Endoscopy platform(s), including product portfolio, commercialization plan, marketing plan, clinical plan, financial forecast plan, and supply chain plan.
- Collaborate closely with and stay actively engaged in future pipeline discussions with other product management members, headquarters liaisons, R&D, and marketing personnel.
- Work closely with global marketing and R&D counterparts to share best practices and leverage successes in other regions.
- Lead commercialization and required activities for assigned new products throughout its product life cycle, including pre-release preparation, evaluation, launch, training, post-launch observations/trouble shooting, and product retirement.
- Work with sales/sales leadership, national business development managers, clinical specialist team, and field service engineers in the management of field initiatives.
- Assist in managing elements of trade show participation, including show objectives, booth and partnership equipment requirements, hands-on workshops, and overall execution of an event.
- Provide technical assistance to healthcare professionals and internal staff who have technical questions or problems, communicating expert opinions on behalf of company products and offering possible solutions to problems.
- Provide trainings on product operations, reprocessing, manufacturer's requirements of the portfolio(s).
- Develop product evaluation protocol for new products and lead the evaluation on-site, managing the site selection process, tactical protocol deliverables, and summarization of project results to global headquarters.
- Develop tactics to drive adoption and broader recognition of clinical and economic benefits of Fujifilm technology, including clinical and white paper strategies.
- Highly focused and results-oriented, able to identify goals and priorities and resolve issues in initial stages.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a close team environment, self-starter who can motivate others.
- Possess exceptional communication/interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Effective time management skills.
- BA/BS or equivalent, preferably with a degree related to healthcare or biology or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years' work experience in a marketing capacity, including marketing associate, marketing coordinator, associate product manager, product manager, senior product manager, product/technical director, etc.
- Minimum 7 years of Surgical Endoscopy/MIS medical device experience with strong clinical background.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret essential job-related documents.
- Ability to present and speak effectively and professionally to all internal and external customers.
- Ability to calculate, balance, analyze sales and marketing data, prepare detailed reports, and report data.
- Ability to present and communicate in a multi-cultural environment.
- Availability to frequently travel, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, largely domestic but some international travel may be required.
- Possess a driver's license.
- The following qualifications are desirable but not mandatory: knowledge/familiarity with general, thoracic, colorectal, bariatric surgeries, gastroenterology, and/or pulmonology-related products and procedures, knowledge of United States healthcare systems and dynamics.
