Senior Commercial Operations Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Manager to join our team at Hydrasun Group Ltd. This pivotal role will oversee the management of the IIS channel while providing both commercial and technical oversight for all panel and complex product/modular assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of interconnected project dependencies within the organization.
  • Drive initiatives that support the energy transition across various sectors including oil and gas, renewable energy, industrial, and marine.
  • Evaluate the existing IIS channel to identify opportunities for enhancements and lead the execution of necessary changes.
  • Formulate channel strategies aligned with our three-year growth objectives and project delivery goals.
  • Ensure project execution meets established safety, scope, cost, and timeline benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate risks while managing interdependencies.
  • Provide consistent updates on project progress and manage associated portfolio risks.
  • Implement effective change control processes and ensure thorough project closeout.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to facilitate project design and advancement.
  • Adhere to established safety, quality, and human resource management protocols.

Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND/Degree in electro/mechanical engineering or manufacturing management is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in the design and production of complex panel and modular assemblies.
  • Adept at team management with extensive commercial acumen, particularly in the panel/modular assembly sector.
  • Ability to critically assess existing practices and evaluate business and contractual risks, implementing safeguards to protect the organization.
  • Strong planning, organizational, influencing, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in commercial and technical management within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power industries.
  • Comprehensive project lifecycle management experience from concept through to commissioning and handover.
