Job Description

Circet IRE & UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial operations, you will play a crucial role in implementing commercial reporting systems and procedures to maximize commercial benefits of our contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Commercial Director in implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Manage commercial functions of various work packages, including design, test, and commission, materials, telecoms, electrification, power, and plant.
  • Work with project delivery teams to ensure effective project change control and management.
  • Collate information on projects and provide commercial insights to inform business decisions.
  • Manage costs of direct labor, materials, plant, and subcontractors, and estimate change/ variations using various methods.
  • Forecast costs and measure costs of completed work packages.
  • Assist with the implementation of commercial strategies and develop business cases to support investment decisions.
  • Hold meetings with clients and senior management to ensure cost projections align with program.
  • Assist tender and bid teams with bills of quantities and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or similar.
  • Proven ability to run complex bids and multiple bids.
  • Understanding of pricing, cost, and profit.
  • Basic understanding of contract language.
  • NEC3 experience.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions.

Health and Safety Obligations:

  • Fully understand and implement the company safety policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that programs for contracts are successfully delivered in a safe, quality, and on-time manner.
  • Drive compliance to any regulatory measures that may apply to the works and operations that Circet undertake.
  • Ensure that all contracts achieve turnover and profitability by maximizing efficiency and minimizing cost of failure.
