Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Operations Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will oversee the Integrated Instrumentation Services (IIS) channel and deliver both commercial and technical oversight for all panel and intricate product/modular assemblies produced at Hydrasun Group Ltd.

Role Responsibilities:
The Commercial Operations Manager will collaborate with the Senior Management Team to formulate a robust strategy aimed at ensuring the IIS channel is equipped with the necessary skilled personnel, product offerings, and services to foster significant growth. Key responsibilities include:
  • Formulating channel strategies aligned with three-year growth objectives and project delivery needs.
  • Enhancing manufacturing and production governance to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Executing the IIS strategy and operational goals to surpass customer expectations.
  • Overseeing project delivery to meet safety, scope, cost, and schedule benchmarks.
  • Coordinating with project managers to identify and mitigate risks while managing interdependencies.
  • Providing regular updates on project status and managing portfolio risks effectively.
  • Ensuring proper change management and project closure processes are adhered to.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to facilitate project designs and monitor progress.
  • Identifying opportunities for professional development within the team.
  • Complying with safety, quality, and human resource management systems.
  • Leading the IIS team to fulfill customer requirements and key performance indicators within budget constraints.
  • Overseeing competency development and participating in operational audits.
  • Delivering comprehensive reports to senior management on key departmental indicators.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
  • HNC/HND/Degree in electro/mechanical engineering or manufacturing management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and constructing complex panel and modular assemblies.
  • Adept team leader with extensive commercial expertise in a panel/modular assembly environment.
  • Significant experience in influencing senior stakeholders in a complex business landscape.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strategic and adaptive thinker capable of evaluating the impacts of changing circumstances.
  • Ability to constructively challenge existing practices and assess business and contractual risks.
  • Strong technical and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in planning, organization, influencing, and negotiation.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial and technical management within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors.
  • Familiarity with hydrogen-related products.
  • Comprehensive project lifecycle management experience from concept to handover.
