About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead and develop our commercial team at Buildspace Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our projects, including cost management, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting and budget management.
- Liaise with project managers to collate information on projects and ensure commercial compliance.
- Manage costs of direct labor, materials, plant, and subcontractors.
- Prepare internal and external commercial reports to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified or similar in a relevant field.
- Proven ability to run complex bids and manage multiple projects.
- Experience with NEC, JCT, ICE, or bespoke contracts.
- Knowledge of commercial construction law and regulations.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
