Job Title: Head of Operations

Circet UK is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join our R100 team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing processes and practices across the organisation, formulating strategy, improving performance, and securing compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams responsible for operational delivery of fibre and copper networks across Scotland.
  • Hold operational P&L responsibility to manage risk and deliver projects and frameworks across the UK.
  • Coordinate internal structure to ensure efficient working environment and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Direct, plan, and oversee operational management and portfolio delivery of projects and customer programmes.
  • Advise on process and policy adherence, and implement changes as necessary.
  • Build and oversee delivery teams and processes for R100, including structure, people, process, and technology.
  • Business development: advise and assist in securing new clients and additional programmes of work.
  • Manage clients at director level, offering insight and suggesting ways to drive improved volumes and commercial return.
  • Own all aspects of delivery and reporting, including budget, forecast, quality, health and safety, customer satisfaction, and programme.

Requirements:

  • Experienced leader with a proven track record in leading a multi-functional team.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to deliver against agreed targets.
  • Commercially aware and engaged.
  • Naturally collaborative, able to build relationships with key client and supply chain contacts.
  • Able to command respect and establish personal and business credibility.
  • Committed to delivering the highest health and safety standards.
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Experience in an operational manager role.
  • Experience of utility (streetworks) operations, particularly high-volume low value.
