Job Summary

The Senior Research Nurse/Practitioner will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of a portfolio of clinical trials and the management of clinical research staff within the relevant specialties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the performance of clinical trials, mainly with regard to In-Patient - critical care areas trials.
  • Manage a team of clinical research staff within the relevant specialties.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve recruitment and accrual in line with performance and monitoring objectives.
  • Provide expert knowledge, skills, and experience to support those involved in clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust and other local and national agencies to develop and implement research projects.
