Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
  • Administer treatments and facilitate patient discharges or referrals to other healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize an electronic prescribing system to enhance the efficiency of care delivery.
  • Work autonomously within your scope of practice as part of a cohesive team that includes GPs, registered nurses, and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience as an autonomous clinical practitioner in a primary or urgent care setting.
  • Possession of a patient assessment qualification and an independent prescribing qualification.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Additional qualifications relevant to urgent care.
