About the Role

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Orthogeriatrics team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to elderly patients with fragility fractures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Consultant Geriatricians, junior medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and manage complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in elderly care and orthogeriatrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence.
