About the Role

Talent Torch is seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Director of Ecology to join our team. As a key member of our environmental consultancy business, you will be responsible for leading and managing a successful ecology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing ecology team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive growth and revenue.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, providing training and coaching to help team members grow and succeed.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of business strategies and objectives, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in ecology and environmental consultancy.
  • Qualifications: MCIEEM, CEcol, or CEnv certification preferred.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in team leadership and business development.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of the environmental consultancy market.
