About the Role

Talent Torch is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Ecology to join our team. As a key member of our environmental consultancy business, you will be responsible for leading and managing a successful ecology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing ecology team, focusing on career growth, culture, and team development.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive growth and revenue.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical input into projects and bids, utilizing your expertise to identify and realize new client opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: In excess of 10 years of relevant experience in ecology and environmental science.
  • Qualifications: MCIEEM, CEcol, or CEnv preferred.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in team development and growth.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present at senior levels and across a range of stakeholders.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and policy.
