Talent Torch, a prominent and expanding Environmental Consultancy, is seeking a Director of Ecology to lead and enhance our ecological services. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the growth and management of our ecology division, reporting directly to the Director of Ecology who guides our biodiversity initiatives across the UK.
This position is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives on nurturing talent and fostering a productive team environment. You will play a crucial role in shaping the professional journeys of your team members, cultivating a positive workplace culture, and exemplifying leadership in project planning and execution. Additionally, you will represent the company in business development efforts, strengthening existing client partnerships and exploring new opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Over 10 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications: MCIEEM / CEcol / CEnv.
- Experience in leadership and management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in client management and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional project management capabilities with attention to detail.
- Strong report writing skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Solid understanding of commercial principles.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
