Role Overview

As a Prospecting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying potential clients within the financial services industry. You will leverage your communication and research skills to build relationships with key decision-makers and generate qualified leads for our sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to identify prospective clients in specific market segments.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Utilize a variety of prospecting tools and techniques, including email, phone calls, and social media platforms, to engage with potential clients.
  • Qualify leads based on their fit for Moody's solutions and potential value to the organization.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and interactions within our CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fixed-income credit markets and financial software solutions is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
