Prospect Identification Specialist

The Role
London Business School is seeking a highly skilled Prospect Development Manager to join our Advancement team. This is a key role in supporting our Forever Forward campaign, which aims to drive growth and success in our fundraising efforts.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive Activity: Work in partnership with our Philanthropy team to identify, validate, and build intelligence on potential major gift and principal gift donors to the School.
- Lead on Prospect Development: Research and provide strategic information on prospects, advise on how to engage prospects, and consult as an expert on portfolio management processes to ensure the long-term success of our fundraising efforts.
- Due Diligence and Gift Acceptance: Lead Advancement's Due Diligence and gift acceptance process.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to address a variety of stakeholders.
- Proactive Approach: A proactive approach to relationship development and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Technical Skills: Experience of using Raiser's Edge database or other CRM database, strong IT and data analysis skills, including Microsoft Office, and excellent research, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
- Software Experience: Experience of software related to prospect research.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise.
