Senior Revenue Management Director

Job Summary
MRK Associates is seeking an ambitious and experienced revenue management professional to join our team as a Senior Cluster Revenue Manager. This is a hybrid working role with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a revenue management role within the hotel industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering effective pricing strategies and maximizing hotel performance versus its competitor set and/or budget targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize hotel generated revenues from meetings & events and rooms.
- Grow rooms revenue and Revenue Growth Index (RGI) by utilizing revenue optimization techniques.
- Grow M&E revenue by utilizing revenue optimization techniques to maximize hotel performance versus its competitor set and/or budgeted targets.
- Work closely with hotel operational teams to capture insight, analysis, and recommendations to drive top-line sales.
- Work closely with the commercial team to support sales strategy.
- Generate Rooms and M&E revenue (where applicable) forecasts and budgets for all hotels within the area of responsibility; link to the revenue planning process.
- Ensure proper data management, including inventory management, segmentation, and rate loading.
- Work closely with pricing, strategy, and reporting teams to capture insight, analysis, and recommendations to drive top-line delivery.
- Maintain accurate levels of inventory, based on forecasted demand.
- Conduct remote daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management meetings as set out in the agreed business processes.
- Attend business review meetings, forecast review meetings, and other performance optimization forums, as required.
- Highlight to hotels any issues on channels, such as Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and websites.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a revenue management role within the hotel industry.
- Proven track record of delivering effective pricing strategies and maximizing hotel performance versus its competitor set and/or budget targets.
- Fluent written and spoken English, as well as intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Experience of working in a multi-unit revenue management role within the UK market.
