About the Role

The Melton short breaks and supported living service is looking for a dedicated and well-organized Administrative Support Specialist.

This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage their workload with minimal oversight. A friendly and empathetic demeanor is essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders while maintaining professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive administrative, technical, and secretarial support.
  • Handle general office tasks, including customer service, responding to inquiries, managing emails, filing, and data collection.
  • Produce typed documents, such as reports and correspondence, from handwritten or audio notes, ensuring proper formatting and presentation.
  • Greet visitors and manage incoming calls and emails, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain office supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Assist in managing information and data systems, ensuring both paper and electronic documents are organized and accessible.
  • Work independently to manage your own tasks in alignment with agreed objectives.

About You

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in general office duties, including document management and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong typing skills with the ability to create documents from various formats.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with visitors and colleagues.
  • A commitment to maintaining a professional and courteous approach in all interactions.
  • The ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
