About the Role
The Melton short breaks and supported living service is in search of a diligent and adaptable Administrative Support Specialist.
This role requires an individual who is proactive and well-organized, capable of managing their workload independently. A friendly and empathetic demeanor is essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders while maintaining professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate with a team to provide comprehensive administrative, technical, and secretarial support within the locality.
- Handle general office tasks, including customer service, managing incoming calls and inquiries, email correspondence, filing, and data collection.
- Prepare typed documents, reports, and correspondence from handwritten or audio notes, ensuring proper formatting and presentation.
- Greet visitors and manage telephone calls and emails to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain office supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary.
- Assist management in ensuring effective information and data management systems are in place.
- Independently manage your workload in alignment with agreed objectives.
About You
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Proficiency in general office duties, including mail handling, document management, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong typing skills for producing various documents and reports.
- Excellent communication skills to provide high-quality customer care.
- Ability to work professionally in challenging situations.
- A proactive approach to managing your own workload.
