Position Overview:

We are in search of a Design Technician to join our Developer Services team on a fixed-term contract. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service to clients seeking to connect to our Waste network and manage sewer connection applications from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing effective solutions.
  • Evaluate the design of new sewer connections and oversee the adoption of new sewer systems.
  • Collaborate with Field Inspectors to confirm approved connections and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and respond to questions from legal representatives.

Your work will be based at our headquarters, with typical hours being Monday to Friday. We are open to flexible and part-time arrangements, and some travel may be required to meet with Field Inspectors.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a background in customer service who are comfortable communicating with clients over the phone. You should possess strong listening skills, the ability to analyze information, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

While we will provide the necessary technical training regarding our Waste Networks, any prior experience in this area will be considered an advantage. We value the right attitude and character, and we welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who are ready to make a difference.
