Position Overview:

We are looking for a Design Technician to join our Developer Services team on a fixed-term contract. In this role, you will support the Waste Connection Team by delivering outstanding customer service to clients wishing to connect to our Waste network. You will evaluate and manage sewer connection applications from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering solutions.
  • Assess the design of new sewer connections and oversee the adoption of new sewer systems.
  • Collaborate with Field Inspectors to confirm approved connections and resolve issues.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure accuracy in all processes.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and provide support to solicitors as needed.

Your typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, with flexibility available. Some travel may be required to meet with Field Inspectors.

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with a background in customer service who are confident in communicating with clients. You should be adept at listening to customer concerns, analyzing information, and providing effective solutions. A proactive and forward-thinking mindset is essential.

While we will provide training on the technical aspects of our Waste Networks, any prior experience in this area would be advantageous. We value character, positivity, and a caring attitude just as much as technical skills.
