Global Sales Executive - Event Management Firm

This is a newly created position within a well-established and innovative event management organization, where you will be responsible for driving sales and engaging in international travel for various events.

About the Organization

Our client is a reputable and imaginative event management firm that specializes in delivering tailored forums and hosted buyer events for the global events and travel sector. Collaborating with a diverse array of international partners and event professionals, this role is essential in assisting the Sales & Marketing Manager to enhance sales and curate a refined selection of exclusive suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage both incoming and proactive inquiries, ensuring the alignment of suppliers with event requirements.
  • Present various service packages to potential clients and actively participate in industry events to network and build relationships.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to identify and engage new and exciting venues and accommodations.
  • Participate in all events as part of the team to guarantee seamless execution.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience as a Sales Manager within the MICE sector, preferably with a background in hospitality, destination management, or travel services, and a proven track record of selling to event agencies and planners. A strong understanding of both proactive and reactive sales strategies, along with comprehensive knowledge of the meetings and events landscape, is essential.
