About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Facilitator in Rehabilitation Services. As a Clinical Facilitator, you will play a key role in providing visible support to pre-registration students and their practice placement educators within our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible support to pre-registration students and their practice placement educators within Rehabilitation Services.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure that non-traditional placement models are used and embedded within the department to maintain and increase placement capacity, particularly within physiotherapy.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate technology to support student learning and update resources available to support these efficiently.
  • Foster good relationships with practice placement educators and external stakeholders.
  • Attend relevant team, wider trust, and off-site meetings as appropriate, and deputise for the AHP Practice Educator.
Requirements
  • Current HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
  • Completed HEI Practice Education training within the last 2 years.
  • Recent and regular Practice Educator of pre-registration students.
  • Experience of planning and co-ordination wider than own workload.
  • Evidence of previous teaching experience both informal and formal.
  • Experience of supervising staff.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Experience of formal leadership training.
  • Experience of recruiting.
  • Experience of managing and reporting concerns encountered on placements.
