Position Summary

Become a vital member of our organization as a Lead Clinical Coordinator within the Inpatient Unit. In this role, you will be instrumental in supervising a dedicated group of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our patients.

Primary Duties

  • Supervise a team of Registered Nurses and, if applicable, Healthcare Assistants
  • Collaborate with and support volunteers within the unit
  • Facilitate the active involvement of patients in their care planning
  • Maintain effective communication with both internal and external departments
  • Work closely with junior medical staff on placement

Required Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in specialized palliative or neurological care as per service requirements
  • Proven leadership capabilities in a clinical setting
  • Understanding of current regulations in the independent care sector
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with high motivation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in sensitive situations
  • Proficient in negotiation and conflict resolution techniques
  • Expertise in change management and performance assessment
  • Ability to provide mentorship and support in a clinical environment
