About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in the development and delivery of our Stepped Care Therapies Service for older people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a local team of psychologists and occupational therapists in older people's mental health community services.
  • Develop and deliver therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups, including those with anxiety, depression, psychosis, and dementia.
  • Provide clinical supervision and management to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a clinical psychologist.
  • Experience of working with older adults with mental health problems.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
