Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for leading a team of psychologists and providing clinical supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality psychological services to our patients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise as a clinical psychologist. You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including older adults with mental health problems, and will have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative psychological interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of psychologists and provide clinical supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality psychological services
- Develop and implement innovative psychological interventions for older adults with mental health problems
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of service effectiveness
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a clinical psychologist
- Experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist in a mental health setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
