Senior Clinical Psychologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at a publicly funded hospital in Dublin. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive mental health services to adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Recognised University degree or diploma in psychology (NQAI Level 8 equivalent) with first or second class honours.
  • Postgraduate professional psychological qualification recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • At least five years of satisfactory postgraduate experience in clinical/counselling psychology, including no more than three years of full-time postgraduate training and no less than two full years' experience as a Staff Grade Psychologist.
  • Possess the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
