Job Overview

As a vital member of the Customer Care division at SkillsHouse Bradford, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding service experiences for our clientele. Your role will encompass addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering a welcoming environment within our establishment. The primary goal is to uphold our commitment to exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with shifts starting as early as 7am and concluding as late as 1am.

Key Responsibilities


• Warmly welcome customers as they arrive.

• Assist customers in navigating menu options and provide tailored recommendations.

• Respond to inquiries about menu items, promotions, and pricing details.

• Accurately process orders, paying close attention to special requests and dietary needs.

• Manage cash and electronic transactions, ensuring precision in cash handling.

• Address customer concerns or complaints in a prompt and professional manner.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas and service stations.

• Monitor and replenish condiments, napkins, and other necessary supplies.

• Adhere to sanitation and hygiene protocols, following company standards.

• Assist with basic cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver efficient and effective service.

• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order preparation.

• Support teammates during peak periods by assisting where needed.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to remain informed and updated.

• Create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for customers, enhancing their dining experience.

• Engage with customers courteously, showing genuine interest in their needs and preferences.

• Actively seek feedback from customers to identify improvement areas and enhance the overall experience.

• Promote loyalty programs, special offers, and promotions to encourage customer engagement and repeat visits.

Minimum Qualification Level

No formal qualifications required.

Essential and Desirable Skills


• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Capability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for delivering excellent service and fostering positive customer interactions.

• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
