Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional with diverse experience in dietetics to become a part of our Nutrition and Dietetic Service team.

This is a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will primarily work within our healthcare facility, with responsibilities extending to regional services as needed.

Key Responsibilities

This role is ideal for a proactive Dietitian with comprehensive knowledge and experience at the band 5 level, who is eager to enhance their expertise in a nurturing environment, or for an accomplished band 6 professional seeking a fresh opportunity.

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of adult patients, providing support across various inpatient and outpatient settings, including specialized services.

This position offers an exciting chance to work in a tertiary healthcare setting, dealing with a variety of complex adult clinical cases. Responsibilities will encompass areas such as enteral nutrition, critical care, renal services, maxillofacial surgery, ENT, vascular surgery, palliative care, gastrointestinal surgery, gastroenterology, and pancreatic surgery.

You will benefit from the guidance of a senior mentor and will receive necessary training and support. Additionally, you will be expected to supervise and mentor student dietitians, Dietetic Assistants, and junior staff members.

We provide dedicated professional development time to foster your growth and are committed to enhancing teaching and presentation skills, evidence-based practice, research, and clinical audit. You will have opportunities to participate in relevant professional networking events and interest groups.

Our department is approved for student placements and is supported by administrative staff and Dietetic Assistants. We are affiliated with educational institutions that enhance our professional environment.
