Highly Specialist Paediatric Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Specialist Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex nutritional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist dietetic services to children and young people with a range of conditions, including enteral tube feeding, faltering growth, and oral nutrition support.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including paediatricians, children's community nurses, and specialist nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, including student dietitians and support workers, to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice, research, and clinical audit within the department.
- HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
- Post-registration training in relevant areas, such as paediatric dietetics.
- Experience of working as a Specialist Dietitian in a similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a high level of organizational and time management skills.
