About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Dietitian to join our dynamic Nutrition and Dietetic Service. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a unique opportunity to work within a tertiary hospital setting and manage a diverse caseload of adult patients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dietetic care to patients across various clinical areas, including enteral feeding, critical care, renal, maxillo-facial surgery, ENT, vascular surgery, palliative care, GI surgery, gastroenterology, and pancreatic surgery.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor student dietitians, dietetic assistants, and junior staff members.
  • Contribute to departmental CPD initiatives and participate in professional development opportunities.

About You

You will possess a strong foundation in clinical dietetics with proven experience at Band 5 level or above. A commitment to evidence-based practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
