About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Specialist Dietitian, you will play a key role in providing expert nutrition and dietetic advice to patients undergoing bariatric surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nutrition and dietetic assessments to patients undergoing bariatric surgery
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition and dietetic plans to support patients' weight management and health goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for patients
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in weight management and bariatric surgery
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Post-registration training in relevant area
  • Experience of working in a clinical setting, preferably in a bariatric surgery team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
