Role Summary: The Director of Global Issuing AE is pivotal in steering the growth of Visa's Commercial Solutions across various global accounts. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of client operations and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Growth: Drive the expansion of Visa's Commercial Solutions by identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within global accounts.
- Client Insights: Develop an in-depth understanding of client businesses, including their segments, operational models, and market coverage.
- Collaboration: Partner with Market, Partnerships, and Emerging Segments teams to monitor industry trends and generate leads for account growth.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for clients, fostering strategic relationships and leading account planning and execution.
- Value Proposition: Communicate Visa's value propositions effectively, tailoring solutions to meet specific client needs and drive commercial metrics.
- Acceptance Expansion: Collaborate with client account teams to enhance Visa acceptance, aligning Visa solutions with partners' business development strategies.
- Operational Support: Ensure clients receive the necessary support for their daily operations, enabling them to focus on business growth.
- Internal Partnerships: Build strong relationships across Visa functions to achieve issuer and enabler outcomes collaboratively.
- Market Trends: Stay informed about payment landscape trends, assisting clients in developing strategic visions and roadmaps.
- Leadership: Embody Visa's leadership principles and strive to meet organizational goals.
- In-depth knowledge of the global payments landscape, especially B2B payments and the technology/SaaS ecosystem.
- Proven track record in managing significant client relationships and developing sales partnerships.
- Experience in sectors such as big tech, fintech, retail banking, or consulting, with a history of executing high-impact projects.
- Adept at navigating fast-paced environments and leading global initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in creating business cases and strategic plans.
- Exceptional leadership and relationship management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Fluency in English and preferably another European language.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of remote and office work.
