Paid Social Account Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Paid Social Account Director to join our team at Assembly Global. As a key member of our global performance team, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class paid social campaigns and driving forward the agenda on innovation, testing, and measurement.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the strategic lead on paid social clients to define frameworks that hit our client's KPIs and business objectives
- Lead key client accounts independently, managing client escalations, and providing inspiration both to clients and internal stakeholders
- Line management of a paid social team, and mentoring and support of direct reports
- Overseeing all elements of the delivery, optimisation and reporting of campaigns to ensure market leading execution
- Monitor quality control on daily workflow and ensure that team processes are followed, including Quality Assurance processes in campaign activation and for all client deliverables
- Working with the Head of Paid Social and our sales team to develop and deliver pitches to win new business and drive overall team growth
- Cross-selling Paid Social to Assembly's existing client base by working with Client Leadership to proactively identify opportunities
- Act as an internal expert on emerging trends, technologies and opportunities across Facebook apps, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, Linkedin and emerging platforms.
- Work with media partner contacts to seek value add opportunities on clients and develop relationships with key platform partners
- Ensure Paid Social plays a key role in the client's marketing mix by keeping abreast of developments across social platforms and constantly encouraging integration with senior agency personnel
- Strong Paid Social experience, gained in an agency setting
- Senior client handling and relationship management experience essential
- Demonstrable experience of delivering best-in-class paid social campaigns and driving forward the agenda on innovation, testing, and measurement.
- Experience planning and managing both Brand and Performance campaigns for multi-market clients across multiple Paid Social platforms
- Management of activity across international markets referential but not requisite
- Experience in managing a team and goal setting for direct reports
