Volunteer Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team at Branches. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our beneficiaries and making a real difference in their lives.
About the Role:
The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Providing support and supervision to volunteers within agreed standards
- Providing training to volunteers and coordinating external and internal training opportunities
- Working with the client group, Support and Resettlement team, and voluntary sector organizations to develop the volunteer program
- Building and managing strategic relationships with key community stakeholders
- Acting in compliance with our policies and processes at all times
Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing volunteers effectively
- Ability to motivate and support volunteers to provide consistent support to vulnerable adults
- Experience of developing networks and relationships with a wide range of partners and stakeholders
- Skilled at delivering engaging training sessions and organizing events
- Solid IT ability (Microsoft)
- Knowledge of the communities in Waltham Forest and east London
- Experience of working with homeless people directly in challenging environments
What We Offer:
- 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro rata for 4 or 3 days per week)
