Hours: 35 hours per week - Evening work expected a few evenings per month.
Role Overview
The Volunteering Services team plays a crucial role in providing support for volunteers throughout the organization, offering essential services such as the support center, awards, grants, events, and contingents. This position will lead a team dedicated to supporting our HQ volunteers.
The team comprises a diverse mix of functions, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of our collaborative efforts. You will play a vital role in assisting the UK Leadership team with the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support of future volunteer leaders within the organization.
This position offers the chance to assist key volunteer line managers in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and recognition of HQ volunteers. You will collaborate closely with the UK Volunteer Support Team to enhance our systems, processes, and guidance, ensuring they are efficient and welcoming.
You will be part of a positive, supportive, and collaborative team that values working together and is dedicated to creating an excellent work environment for all staff and volunteer colleagues.
