Job Title: Placement Director

The Placement Director will play a pivotal role in the Voluntary Services Team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. This position requires a highly organized and communicative individual who can effectively support the coordination, development, and promotion of voluntary services within the Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Recruit and train volunteers across all areas of the Trust, ensuring a diverse and skilled pool of volunteers.
  2. Manage the volunteer recruitment process, working closely with the Voluntary Services Coordinator to ensure timely and efficient recruitment, interviews, and background checks.
  3. Collaborate with the Voluntary Services Coordinator to maintain accurate and compliant volunteer records, utilizing the volunteer management system.
  4. Support the Voluntary Services Lead in ensuring all processes and documentation align with Trust policies and procedures.
  5. Supervise the management of volunteers, including recruitment, selection, placement, training, and ongoing support.
