About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Volunteer Coordinator to join our team at City Harvest London. As a key member of our Volunteer Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient running of our Community and Corporate Volunteer Programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily activities of community volunteers, ensuring effective communication, support, and guidance.
  • Monitor community volunteer numbers and communicate with other teams to fill gaps in cover.
  • Support the development of volunteers with briefings and tailored training.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager, Food Team, and Volunteering Team to ensure awareness and adherence to corporate volunteer requirements.
  • Act as first point of contact for corporate volunteers, ensuring good communication and high engagement levels.
Requirements
  • Experience in complying with equality and diversity policies and promoting a healthy working environment.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 is essential.
  • Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to keep accurate records.
