About the Role- Oversee the management of the volunteer pool and experience.
- Coordinate volunteer's schedules, both in the UK and overseas.
- Ensure there are enough volunteers for events.
- Gather feedback from volunteers.
- Handle hotel bookings and examiner experience, including expense reimbursement.
- Ensure diverse volunteer allocation and accurate data management.
- Develop clear, high-quality communication with volunteers.
- Provide leadership when problems arise with volunteers or venues.
- Support risk assessments.
- Supervise staff, set objectives, and conduct performance reviews.
- Coordinate team members' work schedules.
- Oversee staff training and development for direct reports.
- Previous experience managing and developing volunteer pools.
- Supporting budgeting/forecasting processes.
- Ability to lead and build relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Salary: £36,500
- Duration: 18 month contract, aim to go long term
- Hybrid working, 1 day in the office
- Location: London
