Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Volunteer Administration Coordinator to join our Volunteers Team at St Joseph's Hospice. This role is essential for managing the daily administrative tasks associated with volunteer support, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Handling the routine administrative functions of the team, such as processing volunteer references and conducting DBS checks.
- Posting volunteer opportunities on various recruitment platforms.
- Assisting in the organization of volunteer orientation sessions and training programs.
- Providing additional administrative support as required.
To excel in this role, you should possess strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in engaging with a diverse group of individuals is essential, along with the ability to work autonomously. Familiarity with facilitating group workshops and delivering presentations is also advantageous.
