Role Overview

As a Lead Care Assistant, you will guide and motivate a dedicated team of care assistants to deliver exceptional care to our residents, ensuring they enjoy a fulfilling later life. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting residents with personal care, facilitating participation in various activities that promote their health and well-being, administering medications, and maintaining precise documentation. Each day will present unique challenges, allowing you to utilize your leadership and interpersonal skills to create a meaningful impact.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for supporting older individuals, have prior experience in care, and hold at least an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care, with a willingness to pursue level 3. Experience in leading, coaching, and inspiring a team to provide high-quality care is essential.

You should demonstrate a compassionate and nurturing demeanor, excel in teamwork, and be capable of taking initiative. Strong communication, patience, and listening skills are vital. Additionally, effective record-keeping, time management, and task prioritization will be key strengths.
