Our Ambulatory Care unit operates as a same-day emergency care facility, providing essential services to patients. This unit is dedicated to various specialties, including surgical procedures, orthopedics, internal medicine, stroke care, and neurology. Patients may visit for scheduled appointments or be referred through various healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our dynamic team.
The selected candidate will collaborate with a skilled nursing team to deliver comprehensive care to our patients.
Your Role
As a Patient Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting qualified nursing staff in providing high-quality direct and indirect patient care.
- Assisting and offering support to patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Upholding high clinical standards in all aspects of care.
- Contributing to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for patients.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health, Health & Social Care, or Direct Care, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant training and experience that demonstrate transferable skills, such as respiratory essentials, phlebotomy, and ECG acquisition.
Experience and Knowledge
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Required Qualifications
- Understanding of care procedures, clinical observations, and relevant legislation.
- Completion of a competency-based program or equivalent relevant experience.
- Level 3 qualification in a healthcare-related field or a portfolio demonstrating equivalent experience.
