What We Seek...

We are in search of a passionate and entrepreneurial Sales Advocate to enhance our vibrant on-trade team. In this role, you will serve as a representative for FUNKIN in key urban areas, primarily focusing on the independent free trade sector. As the face of FUNKIN, your mission will be to educate and train new clients, fostering growth in our business and the cocktail category.

This position is ideal for individuals with current or recent experience in the on-trade sector (especially bars) who possess strong relationship-building skills and a sharp eye for new sales prospects.

Your Key Responsibilities...

  • Utilize your enthusiasm for cocktails to champion FUNKIN, enhancing visibility and distribution in on-trade venues, particularly within the independent free trade.
  • Fortify the FUNKIN brand in on-premise locations through bartender-focused activations and training sessions.
  • Independently and collaboratively with our Route To Market (RTM) partners, identify and cultivate new account opportunities.
  • Work alongside the trade marketing team to execute regional marketing strategies within your account base.
  • Implement in-outlet point-of-sale materials and FUNKIN marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with spirit partners to support accounts and boost sales performance.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current or recent relevant experience in the on-trade sector (preferably bars) is essential.
  • The ability to engage with bar staff and managers from a knowledgeable standpoint.
  • A solid understanding of cocktails and mixology is preferred, as you will be interacting with bar and pub operators. Additional training can be provided.
  • Connections with key RTM customers will be beneficial.
  • An energetic and vibrant personality.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
  • The capacity to work collaboratively within the Sales Team and across departments.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify business or channel-wide opportunities.
