On-Trade Sales Representative for FUNKIN COCKTAILS

Location: Field Based - Full time role

Salary: Starting £28,000 subject to experience, plus Quarterly Bonus, plus Car Provision

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Representative to enhance our on-trade team. In this role, you will serve as the ambassador for FUNKIN in key city areas, primarily focusing on the independent free trade (IFT). Your responsibilities will include educating and training new clients to expand our business and the cocktail category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your enthusiasm for cocktails to promote FUNKIN, enhancing visibility and distribution in on-trade establishments, particularly in IFT.
  • Fortify the FUNKIN brand in on-premise venues through bartender-focused activations and training sessions.
  • Independently, and in collaboration with our Route To Market (RTM) partners, identify and cultivate new account opportunities.
  • Work alongside the trade marketing team to execute regional marketing strategies within your account base.
  • Implement in-outlet point-of-sale and FUNKIN marketing materials effectively.
  • Collaborate with spirit partners to support accounts and boost sales performance.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current or recent experience in the On-Trade sector (preferably in bars).
  • The ability to engage with bar staff and managers from a knowledgeable standpoint.
  • A solid understanding of cocktails and mixology is advantageous, as you will interact with bar and pub operators. Further training can be provided.
  • Connections with key RTM customers will be beneficial.
  • An energetic and vibrant personality.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • The capability to work collaboratively within the Sales Team and across departments.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify business or channel-wide opportunities.
